Clorox was looking to drive sales at retail while adding value to their product lines for Clorox Bleach and Disinfecting Wipes. Hip Digital and Clorox launched an in-store promotion exclusively at Walmart across the US to achieve these objectives.


The Platform:
With every purchase of a Clorox Bleach or Disinfecting Wipes product, consumers receive digital content credits to choose content from a custom branded site Hip Rewards Platform accessible on both web and mobile devices.


The Rewards:
Clorox consumers can choose from Music, Mobile Apps, eBooks, Audiobook, Virtual Currencies from a fully branded Clorox & Walmart rewards platform.


Measured Results:
The program drove two consecutive months of share increase on Clorox Liquid Bleach at Walmart and contributed to positive category growth on Sodium Hypochlorite (Bleach) and Through the Wash categories during the quarter program was live in market. Engagement was 37% higher than the CPG benchmark due to visibility and excitement of the promotion.
