New Product Launch - Sprint + RIM
Campaign Brief:
Sprint looked to promote the launch of new BlackBerry Style handset to their customer base.
Hip Digital Solution:
Hip Digital sourced and administered a sweepstakes campaign whereby Sprint users could enter, and receive a PIN code worth free music downloads for doing so. Hip Digital also created opt-in mechanisms within the microsite where visitors were incented to watch the BlackBerry Style video, and sign up to the Sprint newsletter with additional music downloads.
Hip Digital provided PIN codes to entrants in real-time via a custom branded emails. PIN codes could be redeemed on a custom branded music store created and powered by Hip Digital, that featured a customized catalogue of Warner-only music content.
Results:
Hundreds of thousands of dollars of prizes were given away, with prizes including a VIP tour with a Warner Music artist, music awards show and after-party tickets, CD catalogues, BlackBerry Style devices, and thousands of music downloads.
