Vered Koren, VP, Content & Business Development
Vered is responsible for label relations, content acquisition and development. With a range of experience working in Canadian music and media, Vered has become a specialist in digital content development and licensing. Before joining the Hip Digital team Vered worked with Moontaxi Media Inc. where she inhabited various content and management roles for Moontaxi's background music and web streaming services. Vered was a key player in the launch of Puretracks.com - Canada's first digital music download service. She went on to manage Puretracks' music and editorial operations as well as record label relations and licensing initiatives.

Prior to her entrance into digital media, Vered worked in both radio and television as a producer, writer, and host for a variety of productions. Most notably, Vered worked for Shaw Communications in both local television production and national marketing. In 2002, Vered received recognition as an innovative video producer for her work in short form animation, screening her work at national film festivals in Toronto and Montreal.

Vered holds an Honours Degree in Radio and Television Arts from Ryerson University and a Communications Degree from the University of Calgary.
