Karim Mitha, Chief Technology Officer
Karim is responsible for all technical operations and systems needs at Hip Digital. Having formerly held senior positions with numerous hardware and software companies such as LSI Logic, Msound International, Sierra Semiconductor and Rainmaker Digital Pictures, Karim has an extensive background in the fields of hardware and software development and integration.

A senior technology specialist with extensive experience in the design, deployment and operation of IP based network systems and software applications, Karim has particular expertise in architecting complex web-based applications with dynamic content and e-commerce elements.

Karim was founder and Senior Architect of the online training and educational portal, "youachieve.com", which attracted considerable acclaim as a leading interactive multimedia personal training and development site on the web. In 1997, youachieve.com was selected by Microsoft as one of the 30 companies that were showcased as part of Microsoft's global launch of their multimedia services.

Awarded an Honours degree in Electrical Engineering, Karim holds a US patent for his work on FM music synthesis generation methodologies. Karim is a registered Professional Engineer and for the last three years has been running his own technology consulting firm.
