Digital Music Rolls Through Canada:
Hip Digital Media, Inc. and FUSE Marketing Help Canadian Tire Deliver Digital Holiday Music and Gifts to Customers

Menlo Park, CA – November 29, 2010:  Hip Digital Media, Inc., North America's leading digital promotions company, and FUSE Marketing, one of the largest digital media and communications agencies in Canada, teamed up this past weekend to launch Canadian Tire's Our Gift to You promotion at nearly 500 retail stores across Canada. With Hip Digital and FUSE Marketing's expertise behind this large scale promotion for Canadian Tire, the stores distributed a total of 2.1 million scratch and win cards to all customers who purchased any of Canadian Tire's products on November 27 and 28, 2010. In order to spin customers' attention their way prior to one of the busiest weekends for shopping of the year, Canadian Tire sent approximately twelve million flyers to their customer base during the week of November 21st.


1.7 million of the 2.1 million cards that Canadian Tire's stores gave away over the weekend have codes that are valid for one digital music download, good until March 31, 2011. The remaining game cards offer a discount to Indigo Books & Music stores across Canada. Additionally, as part of their Our Gift to You promotion, each Canadian Tire store gave a $1,000 cash prize to one lucky customer.

Hip Digital helped keep FUSE compliant with Canadian laws regarding bilingual communications for promotions by building two separate digital music stores (one in English, and one in French ) for the customers to redeem the codes from their game cards. Both online stores offer a variety of artists and holiday music to help spread cheer from east to west. Likewise, FUSE strategically distributed the game cards themselves across Canada, with the majority of cards with French text going to stores in province of Quebec.
