Rory Armes, Gaming Industry Advisor
Rory is the Vice President and General Manager of Electronic Arts' (EA) European studio. He is responsible for directing the development of EA games in London, Sweden and Montreal, including the development of new intellectual property and franchises. Prior to this role, Rory was Vice President of Electronic Arts' Canadian Studio (EAC), responsible for one-third of its titles. Rory had built EA's core business there - adding to and strengthening its sports franchises, which include NHL Hockey, NBA Live and MVP Baseball, Fight Night and Fifa soccer, the world's most successful soccer franchise. Prior to joining EA, Rory was president and co-founder of Radical Entertainment; a Vancouver based interactive entertainment developer. Rory was also at DSI (Distinctive Software Interactive) which is now part of EA Canada.
